消息報告 Announcements
- 本主日是待降節第一天，第一個主日象徵希望，盼望救世主主耶穌的誕生，帶給世人永生的盼望。This Sunday is the first Advent Sunday. It symbolizes hope, the anticipation of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ who will bring eternal life to the world.
- 教會從上週起連續三個主日推出感恩活動，配合台灣芥菜種會聖誕禮券資金募集，為弱勢兒童及青少年募集每張$20的聖誕禮券。有意願一起參與這項資金募集的兄姐請在招待處領取奉獻袋，以$20為單位，將現金或支票放入奉獻袋並投入奉獻箱中，在聖誕季節裡與有需要的孩子分享神的恩典與愛。 Starting last week, our church has started fundraising with Taiwan’s Mustard Seed Mission, raising $20 for each child and youth in need. Brothers and sisters who are willing to participate may put cash or checks in the clear donation box at the reception table.
- 禮拜後成人主日學時間是小組分組，以討論主日信息為主，請兄姊踴躍參與。After the service, small groups will discuss the Sunday sermon. All are encouraged to participate.
- 12月7日是日好牧者教會慶祝設教45週年慶典，當天將邀請 San Gabriel 中會剛剛退休的 Wendy Tajima 牧師前來講道，歡迎邀請親友一同參加。December 7th is Good Shepherd Church’s 45th anniversary celebration. Pastor Wendy Tajima, who recently retired from San Gabriel Chinese Church, will be preaching that day. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
- 12月14日舉行聖餐和洗禮，請為了準備接受洗禮和轉籍加入好牧者大家庭的兄姊禱告，願上帝施恩賜福。On December 14th, we will observe communion and baptism. Please pray for the brothers and sisters who are preparing their hearts for baptism, and may God protect them.
- 12月21日聖誕節讚美禮拜，有詩班獻詩、聖誕大餐和報佳音，請兄姊踴躍參與。December 21st is Christmas Sunday, and we will celebrate with a choral cantata, Christmas feast, and caroling in the afternoon. All are encouraged to participate.
代禱 Intercession
- 為在職及新選的長執同工禱告，求神賜下合一的靈，完成主交託的工作。Pray for the existing and newly-elected elders and deacons, asking God to grant them a spirit of unity to accomplish the work entrusted to them by the Lord.
- 為12月7日慶祝設教45週年禱告，求神帶領一切的籌備與計畫。Pray for our church’s 45th anniversary celebration, that God will guide all the preparations and plans.
- 為增建「多功能廣場」的計畫禱告，求神預備所需要的一切，同心合意完成新建工程。Pray for the church’s plan to build a multi-functional area, that God would provide and that we will have one heart and mind.
- 為教會兒童事工、青少年事工、英文事工禱告，求神賜福和保守參與的同工，並為兒童、青少年的屬靈生命，幫助他們更認識神。Pray for Children’s Ministry, Youth Group, and English Ministry, that God will continue to bless and protect the coworkers and children.
- 為教會長輩、身體欠安的兄姊禱告，求神醫治並保守平安。Pray for God’s healing on our church’s elderly and young, that God will heal them and keep them safe.
